Gladiator Hulk Armor Revealed For Thor: Ragnarok

We know that the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok is blending the classic Ragnarok storyline from the comics with another much-loved storyline, that of Planet Hulk.

Earlier this year sources teased that Hulk would be wearing his gladiator armor from the comics, and now we have our first look at the armor set he will be donning in the film, courtesy of Marvel's Ryan Penagos.

"Gladiator #Hulk Armor from #Thor Ragnarok now on the #MarvelSDCC stage! #SDCC #Marvel"

It looks fantastic, and frankly, I'm glad they will be staying true to the original look. Now how much of the movie will be Planet Hulk and how much will be Ragnarok remains to be seen, but sources close to the project have said that Thor and Hulk will "definitely be involved in some gladiatorial games run by the Grandmaster". The Grandmaster is being played by new addition, Jeff Goldblum.

While we don't have specifics on how the heroes get into this situation, those same sources have said that Thor ends up on the planet due to his quest to find the ultimate weapon, which he needs to stop Ragnarok.
