Thor: Ragnarok is one of Marvel Studios' new films coming in 2017, and it's going to bring together several of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's brightest stars.

Chris Hemsworth will return as Thor, and he'll be joined by Mark Ruffalo as Thor's Avengers teammate Hulk. Also returning is Tom Hiddleston as Thor's treacherous brother, Loki, and Benedict Cumberbatch will make an appearance as Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange.

Loki is no amateur when it comes to sorcery himself. Could Loki have an encounter with Doctor Strange in Thor: Ragnarok?

"I can't spoil anything for you," Hiddleston said when asked about the possibility by MTV. However, he did go on to discuss what role Strange may have to play in the events of Thor: Ragnarok.

"Doctor Strange has very intensely, cerebral, time-bending powers," Hiddleston says. "At the end of Thor: The Dark World Loki's on the throne. What happened to Odin? So, maybe Doctor Strange has to help out with that particular conundrum."

Could Doctor Strange travel backward in time to discover what really happened to Odin in Thor: The Dark World? That certainly sounds like what Hiddleston is hinting at.
