FX Productions and Marvel Television have released five new promos for the X-Men movies spinoff TV series Legion.

Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he's confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.

Legion is based on the Marvel Comics character created by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz in the pages of the X-Men spinoff series New Mutants. Legion, real name David Haller, is the mutant son of Professor X. David is an incredibly powerful mutant with a full array of powers, but each of those powers is controlled by one of his multiple personalities, and not all of those personalities have David's or anyone else's best interests in mind.

The new Legion promos follow a new Legion trailer that was released yesterday. That second Legion trailer revealed that the series will premiere on FX on Feb. 8, 2017.
