X-Men: Apocalyse Reveals Retro X Arcade

In the run-up to the May 27 release of X-Men: Apocalypse, 20th Century Fox has launched a throwback to 1980's arcade classics with their Retro X: Arcade.
In an age when most movie tie-in games are available on mobile devices, modeling this on old-school console games takes one of the most common promotional gimmicks in movies and puts a cool, period-appropriate spin on it.
Likely a nod to the arcade cabinets frequently seen being played by Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse, fans can head over to SpacePortArcade.com to check out the games, inspired by '80s arcade and Atari favorites...but with a mutant twist.
X-Men: Apocalypse is the ninth film in the X-Men franchise, and the fourth to be directed by Bryan Singer. The film features a screenplay by Simon Kinberg, and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, Lana Condor and Ben Hardy.
Check out when X-Men: Apocalypse and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
