Earlier today, the first official trailer for 20th Century Fox's Independence Day: Resurgence dropped, bringing fans their first look into one of the most anticipated sequels in blockbuster history.

The film stars Liam Hemsworth and brings back Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch and Jeff Goldblum, as the aliens from Independence Day return bigger and badder than ever.
