Assassin's Creed Movie Has Started Filming

The Assassin's Creed movie has begun production in Malta, the Malta Film Commission confirmed today.

Based on the hit Ubisoft videogame series, Assassin's Creed stars Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises).

In Assassin's Creed, Fassbender plays Callum Lynch, a descendant of the mysterious secret society the Assassins. Callum must inherit the skills of his ancestors by, by unlocking his genetic memories, so he can battle the powerful Templar organization in the modern era.
