During a presentation at CCXP - Comic Con Experience 2015, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costume designer Michael Wilkinson reportedly confirmed some rumors and suspicions that fans and the press have had about the film.

Ezra Miller will reportedly make his first appearance as The Flash in the forthcoming film, which means that by the time the movie is over, at least five of the seven main members of the Justice League will have appeared onscreen, with only Green Lantern unaccounted for.

"He will have a thinner silhouette and will not be as strong as the other heroes of the Justice League," Wilkinson reportedly said.

There have long been rumors that Green Lantern might debut in the second half of Zack Snyder's Justice League Part One, so that's not entirely shocking.

Somewhat more pertinent to much of this week's discussion, Wilkinson is quoted as confirming that the desert sequence with the flying Parademon-like creatures and Superman tearing off the Dark Knight's mask is, in fact, a nightmare.

"Wilkinson revealed that, in Wayne's dream, the world turned into a post-apocalyptic desert in style of Mad Max, in which Superman has become a despot and has an army of followers, composed of soldiers and flying beings. They appear in the trailer," Omelete reports (with a little Google Translate thrown in).

This isn't much of a surprise, either, although on our Facebook site we have had a number of commenters trying to figure out how that scene might fit into the rest of the film's narrative; it seems they can stop speculating, unless Wilkinson is wrong or misquoted.

It always felt like a fantasy sequence to many fans, who remembered Superman in a black-and-silver costume atop a mountain of skulls in trailers for Man of Steel. There are also unconfirmed rumors that one of the tracks in the film's score is to be called "Knightmare."

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016.
