Ben Affleck Says Dawn of Justice Is A Movie For The Audience

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice isn't getting the critical response filmmakers hope for (but it's still making a lot of money). The cast and crew are aware of this fact and they've even weighed in on the subject.
That said, some critics have approved of Dawn of Justice. One of them resides right here on ComicBook.com and on last night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the late night host brought our review to the attention of Batman himself.
"ComicBook.com said Affleck is the greatest on screen Batman," Fallon pointed out to.
"Don't scare people into thinking this is a critical film!" Affleck pleaded while the crowd applauded. "We're not going for the film critics circle or whatever. This is an audience movie! People are actually gonna like this movie!"
Fan reactions have certainly been better than critics, though still very much mixed.
Have you seen Dawn of Justice yet? If so, go rate it in the ComicBook.com Movie Database for a chance to win your very own Armored Batman figure!
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is now playing in theaters.
