As on TV, The Flash of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League Part One will be Barry Allen a forensic scientist whose father is wrongly convicted of his mother's murder.

And, according to star Ezra Miller, Barry will also be able to travel through time and possibly the multiverse.

"He's been struck by the lightning, that's the mythos, but he's a human," said Ezra Miller, who will star as Barry Allen in the film. "He can run through walls, he can run across water, he can run so fast that he can move into another plane of frequency where there's another reality."

"The thing about The Flash is, the past isn't just a thing he can think about, it's an actual place he can visit," added DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer and longtime The Flash writer Geoff Johns.

The Flash stars Ezra Miller and is to be directed by Seth Grahame-Smith, writer of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The movie will be in theaters in 2018. Before then, the character can be seen in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
