04/25/2017 02:46 pm EDT
Disney has just revealed a slew of new release dates for some big upcoming movies (Star Wars 9), and included in that bunch was Jon Favreau's live-action remake of The Lion King.
The Lion King is now slated to hit theaters on July 19, 2019.
The film (which Favreau is making back-to-back with The Jungle Book 2) will take over the release slot for Indiana Jones 5, which has now been pushed back to July 10, 2020.
Atlanta star Donald Glover has already been cast in the lead as Simba, with James Earl Jones returning to reprise his role as Mufasa. Beyonce has been rumored for the role of Nala, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
