'Frozen's' Kristen Bell Is Keeping Josh Gad's Parents Safe During Hurricane Irma

Olaf stayed with Anna when no one else could in Frozen, and she just returned the favor in the best way.

Anna is played onscreen by actress Kristen Bell, who is currently in Orlando shooting a new movie Like Father. She ended up stranded thanks to Hurricane Irma, but used her unfortunate situation to help out fellow friend and co-star Josh Gad's family.

Gad is a Florida native, and his family was also int he pathway of the storm. Bell is currently staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, and upon learning about Gad's stranded family, Bell got them a room at her hotel to get them out of harm's way.

So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma," Gad said. "When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law and niece and nephew. They don't make them like this girl. Thank you Kristin. You are truly an angel sent from above. And thank you @ewablueeyes for bothering her when I asked you not to!!!!

He also shared a photo of Bell with a few members of his family, with all three looking in good spirits despite the circumstances.

Social media is full of praise for her actions, including some delightful ones like "Veronica Mars saved the day and took them to a Good Place. Yay👏" (via Cinloou) and "For real, did Anna really just save Olaf's family?!" from Luna_sea.

Bell also shared another photo with an employee at the resort as they prepared for the coming storm. "Just doing our best and trying to stay positive but cautious, and trying to help those who need help prepping," Bell said. "Every person I passed today was assisting someone else... it was beautiful to see."

Irma has been downgraded to a category 3, but that doesn't mean the storm isn't vicious, and you can find a host of charities to donate to on sites like Charity Navigator.
