A futuristic take on the legend of Robin Hood is coming from 300 and Immortals producer, Gianni Nunnari, and the script is being written by screenwriter, comic book writer and New York Times bestselling author Tony Lee.
It will be a "futuristic reimagining of Robin Hood" set in a "dystopian London with a rogue MI5 agent on a mission to avenge injustice." The working title is Robin Hood 2058. Even though it is set in distant future, Lee promises that it will "stay faithful to the legend's source material."
Lee is known for writing comic books and graphic novels over the past ten years for such titles as Spider Man, Doctor Who, Star Trek and MacGyver.
