Harrison Ford Reviews Star Wars: The Force Awakens
12/01/2015 10:23 am EST
Harrison Ford has seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Imagine, if you will, sitting in a private theater with Harrison Ford and a few of his closest friends and family members. A few of the other cast are there. JJ Abrams is there. They're ready to see the final cut, the finished product, with music, special effects. The opening crawl begins "Episode VII: The Force Awakens" and you look to your left and Harrison Freaking Ford is watching the movie.
It's just a fun thought, right? Well, the other fun thoughts are the ones that Ford had about the movie itself, as he told Good Morning America Tuesday morning.
"I'm going to tell you everything!" the actor said with a laugh, at first. "It was great. It's a wonderful movie, it has great production values. It's a real big movie, and I was delighted to see it," he said, visibly moved.
Ford (whoops, wrote and had to delete Solo there, because he just so embodies the character) said that he came back to Han Solo and Star Wars to work with JJ Abrams, who he "really admires." He had one other reason, though. "It just seemed like a good idea."
We think so too, Harrison.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18, 2015.
