Henry Cavill Teases Big Batman V. Superman Moment

Appearing as a presenter at the 2015 Jameson Empire Awards, Henry Cavill fielded a few questions about Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

According to Cavill, it's been a while since he actually wore the Superman costume.

"The last time I wore the suit…it's been a while…it was in New Mexico in November, mid-November," Cavill says.

He's also not sure when he'll be getting back into the suit.

"I'm not too sure yet," he says. "Nobody's given me the date yet…they'll tell me last minute, I'm sure."

Cavill remains quiet on details of Superman's battle with Batman, but did tease one particular moment.

"Unfortunately, I really can't say anything about that," Cavill deflected. "I wish that I could. Believe me, I wish that I could…There is a firm handshake at some stage, yes."

I guess Superman and Batman will not, as it turns out, remain violent enemies and, by the end of the movie, seem willing to put their differences aside and show some grudging respect.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016.
