Jack Black may be jumping into a board game adventure. The actor is in talks for a role in Jumanji, The Wrap reports. The reboot of the film currently has Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart signed on to star. Black comes off a successful family adventure comedy, Goosebumps, with Sony Pictures, also producing this film.
Jumanji is based, as was the original film adaptation in 1995, on a book by Chris Van Allsburg from 1981. Jake Kasdan, son of Star Wars legend Lawrence Kasdan, is signed on to direct a script by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.
