Jason Statham To Fight A Giant Shark In Meg
04/14/2016 05:51 pm EDT
Jason Statham has gone up against mercenaries, druglords, and even a battery operated heart, but nothing tops going against a dinosaur.
That's exactly what he's signed up for in the Jon Turteltaub-directed Meg. The film has been in development limbo for the last 20 years, but might finally be getting some traction with Turteltaub directing (of National Treasure) and Jamie Vanderbilt penning a new take o the script.
Meg will feature Statham taking on a Carcharodon Megalodon, which is a 70 foot, 40-ton prehistoric animal, and is related to the great white shark. Just a recommendation Statham, but that pistol is probably not going to do the trick.
The Warner Bros. and Gravity made picture does not have a release date or even a projected filming date, but we will update you as more develops.
