Jeff Goldblum Releases New Independence Day: Resurgence Teaser

Taking advantage of his brand-new Facebook page, actor Jeffrey Goldblum has posted a new digital teaser for Independence Day: Resurgence.

In the new teaser, the Independence Day & Resurgence star teases that a resurgence isn't coming—it's already here. The animated message is cut short, however, and turns to static. Alien invasions always do have a way of interrupting social media posts and marketing. Fortunately, you can still check out the entire message below.

In Independence Day: Resurgence, Earth's nations have utilized recovered alien technology to formulate a new global defense program. But even with all of their upgrades, Earth's leaders are still horribly unprepared for an advanced and unforeseen alien force. With the threat of global extinction resurgent, a few brave men an women must rise to save the world.
