Kingsman's Taron Egerton In Talks To Star In Robin Hood: Origins

Lionsgate wants Taron Egerton to star in their upcoming action-adventure film Robin Hood: Origins, according to Deadline.
"The negotiations have just started and a deal might not make," Deadline reports.
The 25-year-old British actor became an overnight star after his strong performance in Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service and the film's success could lead to a sequel being green lit by 20th Century Fox, which in turn could cause a scheduling conflict with Robin Hood: Origins.
Knights Of The Roundtable: King Arthur screenwriter Joby Harold penned the script to Robin Hood: Origins. The plot: "Robin Hood returns from fighting in The Crusades and finds that Sherwood Forest is rife with corruption and evil. He forms a band of outlaws and they take matters into their own hands."
Peaky Blinders' Helmer Otto Bathurst will be directing Robin Hood: Origins. Lionsgate is hoping to get production started in the first quarter of 2016.
Do you think Taron would make a good Robin Hood?
