Professional bodybuilder Mike O'Hearn is hoping to drop some weight in order to get cast as He-Man/Prince Adam in the forthcoming Masters of the Universe movie...but despite what you might have heard online, it hasn't happened yet.
It all started on Instagram, where O'Hearn said his goal was to drop some weight in order to more look the part...and then somebody took him at his word and apparently posted that he'd already been cast, touching off a round of rumors that O'Hearn himself had to quash.
You can check out both the first and second posts below.
Very little is yet known about the Masters of the Universe movie, the first attempt at a live-action feature film for the franchise since the notoriously-panned 1987 version starring Dolph Lundgren.
Thor: The Dark World's Chris Yost will co-write the screenplay and the film is expected along in 2017.
