New Batman V Superman Images Reveal Alfred's Backstory

Several new images from a Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice companion book have surfaced online.

In addition to the photos, which focus entirely on Batman (Ben Affleck), some information from the companion book was also revealed.

Alfred (Jeremy Irons), best known as the loyal Wayne family butler, has had his backstory altered so that he was the Wayne's bodyguard. and the only member of the Wayne Manor staff that Bruce Wayne kept on board after his parents' death.

The companion book also confirms Lauren Cohan is playing Martha Wayne, alongside future The Walking Dead co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne. In this version of Batman's history, the Waynes' killer was never found, apparently removing Joe Chill from Bruce's history.

There's also some nitty gritty details about Batman's armor and equipment, including his grapnel guns, cowl, and the Batcave. Check out the images in the gallery below.
