New Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone Illustrations Released

Scholastic and Bloomsbury Publishing have released several new Illustration by British artist Jim Kay for the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Originally released in 1998, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in the United Kingdom) chronicle's Harry's first year at Hogwarts, and his first meetings with Ron, Hermione, and many of J.K. Rowling's other beloved characters.
The deluxe hardcover edition will be printed in full color and will include a ribbon marker and illustrated endpapers. Check out the video below to hear Kay talk about the models he builds to use for reference in his illustration.

The illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone goes on sale Oct. 6.
