Olivia Munn Says Psylocke Costume In X-Men: Apocalypse Is Very Sexual
07/17/2015 09:13 pm EDT
For those who couldn't tell from the just-released photos, Olivia Munn's costume as Psylocke in the forthcoming X-Men: Apocalypse is fairly right out of '90s comics.
And, yeah, Munn is unambiguous about it: It's a pretty sexual look. One realized here with a fair amount of latex.
"Psylocke's outfit or uniform or suit or whatever you want to call it is very sexual," Munn told Entertainment Weekly, admitting that she had "popped her crotch" like a balloon on the first day she was filming. "I've got like my thigh-highs and a halter, but the thing about that, and that was important, is that it doesn't matter what I'm wearing as long as we're all aware of who she is. She's very strong and she's very lethal and she's very powerful, and it doesn't really matter what she's wearing as long as you have that strength and that presence."
X-Men: Apocalypse debuts in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016.
