Shia LaBeouf's latest movie is having a rough go in UK box offices. You might even say it's going to have some trouble breaking Even, Stevens.

Do you see what we did there?

Variety is reporting that LaBeouf's latest collaboration with writer/director Dito Montiel, the thriller Man Down, opened in just one theater and grossed just £7. That's about the equivalent to the price of admission for a movie theater, meaning the film made the cost of a single ticket over the weekend, according to ComScore.

Man Down—which screened in Burnley, England—is about a US Marine, played by LaBeouf, who returns from Afghanistan to find his hometown devastated and the relationship with his family strained. Kate Mara, Gary Oldman, and Jai Courtney also star in the film.

The film has received mixed reviews after it debuted at several film festivals over the last couple of years, and its release in that lone Brunley theater coincides with its forthcoming On Demand and Blu-ray release next month.

Man Down opened in the US in December and has since made $454,490, according to Variety.

LaBeouf previously played Montiel (as did Robert Downey Jr.) in their first collaboration, A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints, which the director adapted from his own memoirs. That movie received mixed critical reception, as well.

Since starring in various Disney Channel productions, the first three Transformers films, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, LaBeouf has taken on decidedly low-key productions, such as Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac.

If anything, the fact that people are now talking about Man Down and its dismal box office opening could mean more people actually see it. As the old adage goes, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

LaBeouf is currently running "He Will Not Divide Us," a live streamed art installation in protest of President Donald Trump.
