Stan Lee Says His Cameo In X-Men: Apocalype Is Different
07/13/2015 09:06 pm EDT
Stan "The Man" Lee, the father of Marvel Comics and the co-creator of the X-Men, has not appeared in an X-Men film since Brett Ratner's The Last Stand (2006), but he revealed at Comic-Con that he will be making a cameo in Bryan Singer's Apocalypse.
"I did a cameo for the next X-Men movie," Lee began to tell the crowd when the moderator came over and whispered something into his ear. "When you say I'm not allowed — will I be arrested?" Lee added.
"When you go see the next 'X-Men' movie when it comes out, and see my fantastic cameo, you will say, 'I remember he told me about it here," Lee said. "It's a different cameo, a different type, it has one additional thing in it."
Ambiguous yet enticing.
