Star Trek Beyond Set Videos With Aliens, Chris Pine Appears On Dubai Set

In the past couple days, Chris Pine and an assortment of aliens have been spotted on Dubai set of Star Trek Beyond.

Pine, dressed as Captain Kirk in a new Starfleet uniform, can be seen meeting with a Starfleet official. We also have set videos featuring a large and diverse collection of alien species. The wealthy city of Dubai is standing in for a futuristic city and the front of Central Park Towers is being used as a place where aliens congregate.

Star Trek Beyond will be the third film in Paramount's rebooted Star Trek franchise. It's being directed by Justin Lin, from a script by Simon Pegg and Doug Jones. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, and Anton Yelchin will all return for another voyage. The new cast meembers are Idris Elba, Lydia Wilson, Joe Taslim and Sofia Boutella.

Star Trek Beyond voyages into theaters on July 22, 2016.
