Star Wars' Carrie Fisher Reveals New Leia Costume
12/15/2015 06:15 pm EST
Spoilers ahead for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and speculative spoilers for Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Earlier tonight, Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher tweeted out an image of what her costume will apparently look like in the forthcoming Star Wars Episode VIII.
Aside from the general spoiler that having an Episode VIII costume implies she survives the duration of this week's Episode VII: The Force Awakens, beware additional spoilers that might present themselves if you look too closely at the wardrobe.
You can check it out below, via a tweet that saved the image of costume designer Michael Kaplan and reposted it after Fisher took hers down.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan & Abrams, features a cast including actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. They will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18, 2015, kicking off a new trilogy of Saga films as Episodes VIII and IX are already scheduled.
