Star Wars Gets Recut As A Grindhouse Film

The "used universe" aesthetic of George Lucas's original Star Wars trilogy seems like it would be a good fit with an old school grindhouse movie, right?
I mean, the general sense of grit and do-it-yourself? Why not?
Well, Mashable Watercooler thinks so, too. You can check out their revenge-fueled new trailer below:
It's actually kind of unnerving how well it works, although it also does a pretty good job of reminding you that, like grindhouse cinema, Star Wars owes a lot to old serials and Westerns.
There's a new Star Wars movie out now, if you haven't heard. We'll see whether that one gets a similar treatment...!
