A major theme in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice marketing has been that Superman will have to be held accountable for his actions in Man of Steel. By fighting Zod and the Kryptonian army in open combat in Smallville and Metropolis, Superman caused tens of millions of dollars of damage, and was directly responsible for thousands, if not tens of thousands of lives lost.

That's a lot to answer for, and being punched by Batman (even with some kryptonite) might not be quite enough for many people. In this new still released by the official twitter account, Superman stands in front of several microphones and cameras, likely to defend himself, or at least offer his point of view.

"The world needs to know what happened," Warner Bros. tweeted with the image. Just how accountable he's made is yet to be seen, but promotional material so far has included a Senate hearing and dialogue from Bruce Wayne talking about the danger of this super-powered, godly being flying around.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is in theaters March 25, 2016.
