The Angry Birds Movie Adds Blake Shelton To Voice Cast As A Singing Pig
12/29/2015 12:40 pm EST
Angry Bird's all star voice talent just made itself a bit more country by adding Blake Shelton to it's cast. That's right, joining the ranks of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad & Danny McBride is one of the current judges of the Voice and self identified Angry Birds fanatic.
"I wish I had a dollar for every minute I lost playing that freaking game, you know?" Shelton told EW. "Well, I guess I do now."
Shelton is being tasked with writing a new song from the viewpoint of a pig for the movie and at first was a little hesitant on doing so.
"I can write things about myself and my life," says the country singer and coach on NBC's hit singing competition The Voice. "But I don't have a whole lot of experience being shot out of a slingshot at pigs."
