Vin Diesel Channels Groot To Rescue Frog

Not only is Vin Diesel Groot, he's also a lover of nature.

The blockbuster actor, who voiced Groot in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, recently channeled his CGI character by returning a wayward frog to his pond.

We know method acting is a thing, but that usually ends after filming has commenced. But then again, maybe Diesel is just so excited for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, that he' already getting back into character.

Either way, you can watch Diesel do his "part for nature," which he posted on his Facebook page, below.

If you weren't already convinced that Diesel made for the perfect Groot, then this video should erase all doubts.

Diesel will return to protect the Galaxy (which has a whole ton of frogs) when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
