Will Smith And Martin Lawrence Are Definitely Doing Bad Boys 3
02/09/2016 12:52 pm EST
Speaking to BBC Radio 1Xtra, Will Smith confirmed that he and Martin Lawrence will return for Bad Boys 3.
It's a decision that was apparently made recently, when Smith and Lawrence saw each other just a matter of weeks ago.
"I hadn't seen him for about two years, and we just looked at each other. We hugged and in that moment we both knew we were making another Bad Boys. So we're definitely doing another one."
Bad Boys and Bad Boys II are the Michael Bay directed action comedy buddy cop films that transformed Smith, then a rapper and sitcom star, into an action movie icon.
Bad Boys III doesn't have a firm production start, but it has a February 17, 2017 release date.
