X-Men: Apocalypse Concept Art Teases X-Jet, Cerebro And More

Scans from the latest issue of Empire Magazine have revealed new concept art for X-Men: Apocalypse.

At least one piece of concept art is familiar, showing the character design for Archangel, which director Bryan Singer shared over social media previously.

Other art includes a new model of Cerebro, worn by a still not bald Professor X, the 1980s version of the X-Jet, and some sort of pyramid shaped structure, a motif often used by the titular villain Apocalypse. This is perhaps located in the hidden city of Clan Akkaba, or maybe it's the film version of Ship. Either way, it bears a resemblance to the structure En Sabah Nur was constructed in the post-credits scene of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

There's also a piece of concept art that I'm not entirely sure what to make of. At first glance I thought it was an X-Jet thruster, but it seems somewhat large for that, and otherwise connected to whatever structure is housing it. See it for yourself in the gallery below.

X-Men: Apocalypse is now filming and opens in theaters May 27, 2016.
