Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Gets New Empire Cover

Disney recently dropped a new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer, and with the new footage comes plenty of new questions.

Thankfully, fans might get at least a few of those questions answered soon, as Rogue One will be the spotlight of Empire Magazine's newest issue, which hits stores next Thursday. Star Wars UK revealed the magazine's cover via Twitter, which you can view in its full glory in the gallery.

Fans are eager to learn any new details they can from the much-anticipated film, but so far Director Gareth Edwards and Disney in general have been cagey about revealing too much, a practice that while frustrating for fans at times, ultimately benefited Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens when it released.

Rogue One is set in the past and covers the small task force that stole the plans for the death star from the Empire. The Gareth Edwards Directed film also stars Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, and Forest Whitaker.

The newest film set in the Star Wars Universe sets down in theaters on December 16th.
