BB-8 Loses Head After Meeting Porgs

For the last few months, Lucasfilm released a series of short animations featuring BB-8 getting into trouble. The latest reveals what happens when he's surrounded by a group of the cute-but-devious Porgs from Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The Star Wars YouTube channel's latest video reveals how the BB unit can cope without his head. The answer is 'not very well,' apparently. Check out the video clip above.

It was bound to happen in some way, especially given the fact that such an encounter likely won't happen on screen with the Porgs being on Ahch-To and BB-8 joining Poe, Finn, and Rose.

These clips, called "Star Wars Blips" are show BB-8 in various situations that are both adorable and humorous. One shows the droid getting chased by Stormtroopers, leading them to straight into a beating at the hands of Chewbacca. Another shows BB-8 and R2-D2 having a dance battle.

And if you ever wanted to make a case to your friends that droids should never handle lightsabers, well, there's a video for that too.

Check out the playlist for the rest of the Star Wars Blips here to get yourself hyped for BB-8's next big movie.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15.
