Few days can truly start without a generous cup of coffee, but there's no reason you can't represent your favorite droid during your early morning routine.
The devoted creatives over at ThinkGeek have come up with two practical use items for Star Wars fans, specifically for those who love the little droid that could R2-D2.
Just so we're clear, that's pretty much everyone, right?
The first item is an R2-D2 coffee press, which allows you to put your coffee grounds and boiling water directly inside it, and after a few minutes of brewing your coffee is done. It holds up to 32 ounces of coffee, which translates to around 4 cups. The coffee press is pretty stylish too. You can pre-order the R2 coffee press now for $39.99, and he's expected to ship around early November of this year.
The second item is for those who require a different sort of beverage but still like the R2-D2 aesthetic. ThinkGeek has made an R2-D2 14-liter fridge, which comes with two shelves (both removable) and can hold up to 16 cans of soda. The fridge is also portable and includes a 110V US AC power cord for home use and a 12V DC power cord for use in your car. In case you don't need the fridge's cold settings, it also has a warm setting, and the door locks so it doesn't open up in transit.
You can order the R2-D2 14-liter fridge now for $149.99, and make sure to check out photos of both items in the gallery.
If they decide to expand the line, it would be fantastic to have an oven shaped like a Death Star, right? That can't just be me that wants to see that.
