Live Out Your Star Wars Fantasies At Disney World's New Luxury Hotel

If you've ever wanted to wake up in a galaxy far, far away, Disney and LucasFilm's newest endeavor might be right up your alley.

A Star Wars-inspired Walt Disney World resort hotel is in development, according to Disney Parks & Resorts chairman Bob Chapek. While speaking at today's Parks panel at the D23 Expo, Chapek unveiled the 'ambitious' project, as well as some pretty impeccable concept art.

Guests of the Star Wars resort will be able to partake in a 'living adventure', with the help of fully immersive storytelling and production design. Attendees will reportedly be able to participate in a hotel-specific attraction, and even be able to dress in Star Wars-inspired clothing.

"It's unlike anything that exists today." Chapek revealed. "From the second you arrive, you will become a part of a Star Wars story! You'll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience all that entails, including dressing up in the proper attire. Once you leave Earth, you will discover a starship alive with characters, stories, and adventures that unfold all around you. It is 100% immersive, and the story will touch every single minute of your day, and it will culminate in a unique journey for every person who visits."

As of now, the resort does not have a set opening date. When it is unveiled, it won't be the only attraction from the world of Star Wars that fans can experience, as the highly-anticipated park Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set to open in the near future as well.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the second film in the new Star Wars sequel trilogy that began with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. The film will deal with Luke training Rey to become a, and possibly the last, Jedi. Meanwhile, the Resistance, including Poe Dameron and First Order defector Finn, continues to fight against the First Order, led by General Hux, while Supreme Leader Snoke and his Dark Side follower Kylo Ren continue their mysterious plot.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.
