Ahead of tomorrow's big Star Wars announcement set to debut during the broadcast of Good Morning America, some more details about a new character in Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been revealed.

Actor Laura Dern was announced as a new member of the cast last year and ever since people have been wondering who she would be playing in the latest installment of the Star Wars Saga. Now the fine folks over at Making Star Wars have unveiled some new details about the Dern's character.

The report reveals the character is being referred to as Admiral Holdo, a commanding member of the Resistance in their fight against the First Order.

But Holdo doesn't dress in garb typical of the Admiral's we've come to expect from appearances of Admiral Ackbar and General Madine. The report goes into further detail about her appearance:

Admiral Holdo wears a long mauve regal gown with a short cape that hangs down in back with a concealed laser pistol. She has metallic braces around her wrists. Her pink hair is curled with a flapper vibe to it but it's not incredibly short or anything. She's kind of the antithesis of Leia's new general look of a brown dress with her old A New Hope blaster pistol. Admiral Holdo looks very much like a design from the prequel era of Star Wars.

The report also hints that Dern's appearance might be a hindrance to our heroes, and that her protocol with the Resistance might cause more dividing than uniting.
