Fans of Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been waiting patiently for specific details regarding the latest film in the Skywalker Saga. After the literal cliffhanger in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in which Rey meets Luke Skywalker hanging out on a cliff on the isolated planet of Ahch-To, not much information has been revealed regarding Luke's plan to isolate himself.

There's also matters of the First Order discovering the location of the Resistance's base and that inevitable confrontation, Kylo Ren wanting revenge on Rey for besting him in a lightsaber battle, Finn being hurt after betraying his former faction, and Poe helping to plan the next move after destroying Starkiller base.

And then there's the whole matter of General Leia Organa giving her son a spanking for killing daddy dearest.

We'll find out more about Star Wars: The Last Jedi when the movie finally premieres on December 15. Check out the synopsis below:

In Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.
