New Toys Reveal Better Look At Supreme Leader Snoke's Guards in 'The Last Jedi'

In The Force Awakens, audiences were introduced to the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke in holographic form. The being bossed around both Kylo Ren and General Hux, with the two carrying out whatever orders he demanded. Although fans are no closer to understanding the character's origins, new images posted to StarWarsLeaks shed light on the characters tasked with protecting Snoke, his Praetorian Guards.

With Snoke only being featured minimally in The Force Awakens, we only barely caught a glimpse of the guards in the first place.

Earlier this year, the guards themselves were featured in artwork for a pinball toy as well as on the can of an upcoming tie-in soft drink, which hints at the characters playing a more important role in the upcoming film, or at least getting more screen time.

The guard featured above is only one type of guard seen in released artwork for The Last Jedi so far, with another guard having more of a Mandalorian-looking helmet than the one seen above.

The Return of the Jedi gave audiences their first glimpse at the Emperor's Royal Guard, who donned long red cloaks with helmets, but never saw them in action. Similarly, Snoke's hologram in The Force Awakens was surrounded by these guards, but hopefully earning the above toy means we could see the characters guarding Snoke himself.

You can see The Last Jedi when it hits theaters on December 15.
