Celebration 2017 Exclusives Reveal Rey's New Look For The Last Jedi

We're waiting for the dam to burst when it comes to info and images from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which is heavily rumored to receive its first trailer at Star Wars Celebration 2017 in a couple short weeks.

And while we will be there to nab up all of the reveals and news that is inevitably going to drop at the yearly event, we're still mining for anything we can regarding the eighth film in the Star Wars saga.

Now we have a new look at one of the new protagonists of the new trilogy by way of some exclusive Celebration t-shirts from Disney Parks and the Force For Change Initiative.

The designs reveal a new look at Rey, who is wielding a lightsaber and donning traditional Padawan robes in the artwork.

These images come by way of the official Star Wars Twitter account, so they're not fan art or design mocks.

Though it remains to be seen how faithful the rendering is to the actual film, it lines up with the promotional material we've already seen by way of toy packaging, seeing that Rey has the same hairstyle.

A good portion of the film is rumored to feature Rey training with Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force, so seeing her dress the part is certainly an interesting development. And it certainly contributes to the debate of whether or not "Jedi" is plural or singular in the film's subtitle.

Hopefully we get a full reveal at Celebration by way of a trailer, or maybe someone who witnessed the footage at the Disney investors meeting or CinemaCon can corroborate the look.

Until then, we're all waiting impatiently for Star Wars: The Last Jedi to premiere in theaters on December 15.
