Fear the Walking Dead's Mercedes Mason has announced her pregnancy.

The actress, who plays Ofelia Salazar on the AMC series, took to social media to announce she and husband David Denman are expecting a baby boy. "David Denman and I are pregnant (or this is the biggest burrito I've ever eaten!) and so excited," Mason wrote on Instagram. "Feels so good to share our happy news. Thank you to all of our friends who came by to wish us well."

Mason recently returned to Fear the Walking Dead after being absent for much of the show's third season. The return, however, came with the unexpected twist of Ofelia betraying and nearly murdering the group of survivors which is currently following Madison at Broke Jaw Ranch.

"I think there's always reconciliation possibly because again, everything changes so quickly in the apocalypse," Mason said. "She thought it was sleeping pills so she tried to put sleeping pills in the coffee. It turned out to be anthrax. If you try to save each other, things change. That's the thing. It's all about survival. At the end of the day, you only trust whoever you can rely on at the moment. Right now, at this moment, Ofelia and Nick have realized they can't rely on each other. They can't talk to each other but could that change in the future? Absolutely."

Fear the Walking Dead returns Sunday, September 10th at 9 pm ET on AMC. The Walking Dead will return for its eighth season in October. For complete coverage and insider info all season long, follow @BrandonDavisBD on Twitter.
