Spoilers for Fear the Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 3 follow!

Fear the Walking Dead latest episode, Teotwawki, largely followed Madison and her family's adventure at Broke Jaw Ranch but managed to take just enough time to re-introduce an old face to the apocalyptic mix.

While Victor Strand was being held captive at this new location controlled by newcomer Dante, he was offered water by Daniel Salazar.

Salazar went missing when the Abigail Estate was burnt to the ground, by him, in Fear the Walking Dead's second season. Many fans presumed the fan-favorite character to have died and joined his late wife in the afterlife. Nope -- he's back, and will be linking up with the show's other most interesting character, Victor Strand, for some intriguing moments ahead.

Speaking to ComicBook.com about the moment from Sunday's episode, Strand actor Colman Domingo teased what to expect from this new dynamic duo.

"It could become this dark, funny comedy," Domingo laughed. "They're such strong, interesting characters. They've always had a very complicated relationship. I think that it can go either way, man. It can go either way. They could be each other's best friends or adversaries, or a little bit of both, or none of it. I think we have a lot to see in how they can support one another. They're both very strong. They're both daring. They're both type A personalities. They both are very pragmatic."

If anyone is going to keep Victor Strand in check, it's Daniel Salazar. The character is reluctant to trust anyone near him, with good reason, and will call the con man out whenever he might try to be slick.
