The episode begins with the Cooper family posing for a family portrait. Jughead explains that their family was perfect until Jason happened - and how closely tied Polly is to the events leading up to Jason's death.

Sheriff Keller asks Polly questions in the Lodge house. She explains that Jason was selling drugs to get money from the Serpents to use for his and Polly's escape. Polly grows distraught, and Hermione escorts Keller out.

Jughead and Archie play video games in Archie's room. Fred comes in and asks Jughead how he's settling in living with Archie. Fred reveals that his company is starting production on the drive-in the next day.

The gang talks about Polly's predicament while in the student lounge. Veronica suggests that she and Hermione host a baby shower in an attempt to bring Polly and the Coopers back together. Alice storms in and asks Betty and Veronica to come with her.

One of Fred's construction workers reveals that Clifford Blossom contacted them, offering them a better job than what Fred has them doing.

Alice confronts Betty and Veronica about hiding Polly with the Lodges. Betty tells Alice about the baby shower, but Alice doesn't warm up to the idea.

Fred is on the phone, trying to bargain for more construction workers for his job. Archie returns from his date with Valerie and asks Fred what happened. Fred explains that this job is important to him, if he wants his business and his family to stay afloat.

Polly asks about the baby shower plans. She says she wants her parents and the Blossoms there, even if they're currently not on the best terms. Hermione pulls Veronica aside and explains the feud between the Blossoms and the Coopers. She also explains she doesn't want the Blossoms in her house, in case they find out about the drive-in deal she and Fred currently have. Veronica asks Hermione to talk to Alice and convince her to come to the baby shower.

Fred confronts Clifford about the construction deals. Clifford explains that the drive-in land was initially owned by the Blossoms, and he wants any way to be able to get it back - even if he bleeds Hiram and Fred dry in the process.

Hermione asks Fred what happened with Clifford. He explains the grudge match between Clifford and the 'mysterious buyer.'

Archie, Kevin, Jughead, Moose, and their friends show up to help work for Fred's crew in the meantime. Fred accepts their offer.

Alice confronts Hermione about the baby shower. Hermione tells Alice that coming to the baby shower will help Polly gain more stability in her life.

The boys work on Fred's construction job. Archie and Jughead agree that they'll help Fred no matter what, given what he's done to help them.

The boys file back inside at the end of the day. Moose realizes he forgot his phone outside, and discovers vandals destroying Fred's equipment in the process. They injure Moose and drive away. The rest of the guys find him, and Moose explains that the vandals told him that they'll keep coming back as long as Fred's crew keeps working.

Sheriff Keller arrives at the scene. Fred accuses Clifford Blossom of sending the vandals, but Archie suggests it could be the Serpents.

Polly asks if Alice will be attending the baby shower. Betty says that it'll be Alice's loss if she doesn't. Polly asks Betty to be the baby's godmother. Betty accepts.

Archie tells Valerie that he needs to go take care of something. He goes to Pop's to convince Jughead to help him infiltrate a Serpent Bar and find the vandals.

Archie, Kevin, and Moose arrive at a Serpent Bar. They're escorted in by Joaquin. Archie finds a guy who Moose thinks he recognizes. Archie confronts the guy and begins to get beaten up, but is saved by FP.

FP pulls Archie aside and asks what he's doing here. Archie confronts FP, saying that now that he knows FP is a Serpent, he's wondering if he ordered the hit on Fred's company. Fred drives up, and FP reveals that he called Fred as soon as Archie and his friends showed up in the bar.

Guests file into the baby shower. Betty is surprised to see Alice show up. Alice tells Polly she's thankful that she and the baby are safe, and hug. Cheryl and the Blossoms flamboyantly arrive. Cheryl gives Polly an expensive baby carriage, in exchange for letting her be the baby's godmother. Penelope apologizes to Polly for her initial treatment of her and the baby, and asks for forgiveness.

Fred confronts FP for being a Serpent. FP questions Fred's trust in him, and offers to ask around to see who vandalized Fred's stuff.

Nana Blossom performs a ritual on Polly to guess the gender of the baby. She guesses that Polly will be having twins - a boy and a girl.

Polly opens gifts. She opens a gift from Alice - her childhood night light.

Archie arrives at the shower, to the surprise of everyone. He confronts Jughead for FP being a Serpent - and suggests that Jughead covered it up.

Cheryl and Penelope offer to let Polly stay at Thornhill. Alice confronts Penelope, and the pair get into a fight. Polly breaks up the fight and blames the fighting between the two families for Jason's death.

Alice tries to apologize for the way she behaved at the shower. But Polly doesn't accept it, and says that Alice sending her to the group home might have caused Jason's death to begin with. Alice asks Polly to come back home, but Polly wonders about whether or not Hal will want her to. She reveals that Hal made an appointment early on in her pregnancy for her to get an abortion.

Archie apologizes to Fred for what he did at the Serpent bar, saying he just wanted to help make things better. Fred starts crying, saying that he's worked hard to build a better life for Archie. Archie says that Fred's construction company is his legacy, and Archie will help him protect it.

Jughead apologizes for not telling Betty about his dad being a Serpent. He says he hadn't done so because he was ashamed of who he was. Betty says she wants to know Jughead's secrets if they're going to be in a relationship. She then suggests going to talk to FP, because he might know something about Jason's drug trafficking.

Betty and Jughead arrive at FP's trailer. They ask about the Serpents' drug trade. FP explains that it was a mutual arrangement between the Serpents and Jason, but that they didn't know he didn't carry out the trade until after he'd died. Jughead asks FP if he had anything to do with Jason's murder.

As they leave, Betty asks Jughead if he believes FP. He says he does, and Betty says she believes what Jughead believes. The pair kiss.

Alice confronts Hal about him getting Polly an abortion appointment. She reveals that he did the same thing to her before, and Hal explains that that was why he didn't want to include Alice in the scenario. Hal says that Polly's life is being ruined by her pregnancy and the Blossom family, and says he won't allow her to move back into the house. Alice gets distraught, telling Hal to get out of the house before she does something drastic. Hal asks what the community will think if he's not living with her, but she doesn't care. She wants him gone when Polly moves back in.

Jughead apologizes to Archie for not telling him about FP. Archie understands, and says that Jughead can talk to him about anything, since they're like family. Jughead offers to help with Fred's situation however he can.

FP shows Joaquin his secret stash of Serpent money. Joaquin reveals that he's been faking his relationship with Kevin, but that he feels bad because Kevin does genuinely like him. FP laughs it off, saying that each of the Serpents have a part to play in their current situation.

FP brings some of his Serpents to Fred's construction site, offering to help him with the job, as well as keep them out of trouble. He tells Hermione that the vandals weren't local - they're former convicts from Montreal - where Hiram has business. FP suggests that someone told Hiram about Fred and Hermione's relationship, and that's why they carried out the job.

Betty explains to Polly what happened between their parents, and offers for her to come back home. Polly gets hesitant.

Polly arrives at Thornhill instead.

Alice and Betty cry over Polly moving into Thornhill.

Clifford and Penelope welcome Polly into their home. Polly explains that she's doing this for the sake of her baby, and the Blossoms tell her she'll be safe. They escort her inside.
