WWE: Ric Flair Books Fantasy Matches For WrestleMania 33

WrestleMania 33 is starting to come into view, and there is a myriad of directions that the WWE could go in structuring the card. Some of that depends on what happens with two of their high profile part-timers, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg, and if John Cena decides to rejoin the roster on a regular basis.

Ric Flair has a few ideas of his own for the big event, which he shared on the newest episode of The Ric Flair Show (via IWNerd). First on his list is a match between his daughter Charlotte Flair and the much rumored new addition Ronda Rousey.

"I would love to see Charlotte, my daughter, against Ronda Rousey, which I think would be huge. I know she'll be in a main event somewhere and I think they could make that work. But, as [co-host Conrad Thompson] and I both know, Ronda has to win this month or her credibility would be hard to sell, so I just know Charlotte will be in a main event somewhere"

While it would certainly help if Rousey wins her next UFC match, it would still be a compelling storyline even if she loses. You could just restructure it and implement her loss into the storyline, showing her as a babyface attempting to reclaim her rightful place.

Flair then moved on to a match of the powers that be, putting Shane McMahon in a match against Triple H.

"I think the biggest match people want to see, but I'm not sure it'll happen, will be Shane McMahon against Hunter [Triple H]. I said that last week. I mean, that would knock you off your chair and that's not a job for a chair"

It could be quite good, as Shane has proved he can still put on a good show numerous times. That said, Triple H can't have many more of these match appearances in the plans, so unless the stakes are high for the RAW brand it seems unlikely.

Finally, he got to the rumored matchup between Lesnar and Goldberg, a rematch that Flair sees going a much different way than their battle at Survivors Series.

Flair said "Let me tell you this, if it's Brock and Goldberg, which I think it is, it'll be a lot different from what we saw the last month. I've always said, I love Bill. They've got him over big time, but he'll be in Suplex City in Orlando, if my information is correct"

That will also depend on what happens between the two at Royal Rumble, which both wrestlers have been confirmed for.
