We're in the midst of the MLB season. The Women's World Cup just kicked off. The NBA Finals are looking exciting with a matchup between two superstars. The best Final in sports, The Stanley Cup, is three games in with three close calls (go Blackhawks!).

Well, someone had to revive the sports comic book, right? And of all imprints at all publishers, it's Vertigo who stepped up to the plate (the puns are too easy to pass up). Their final issue of Strange Sports Stories hits shelves tomorrow, with creators like Brian Buccellato, Paul Pope, and more involved.
