Flash Gordon Classic Fan Animated Short Released

Rob Pratt, the talented Disney animator who created terrific fan-films like "Superman Classic" and "Bizarro Classic," has brought his signature stylings to another pop culture icon: Flash Gordon.
In "Flash Gordon Classic," Pratt takes the science hero back to his glory days in an animated short that harkens back to Max Fleischer. Styling the short with a distinctly Golden Age tone, as if you were watching an old movie theater serial, the Pratt captures what makes Flash Gordon so great (on top of the foreign planets, damsels in distress, and Flash's debonair attitude). If that weren't enough to make you go "Ahhhh!," the video also features the voice talents of Eric Johnson, who played Flash Gordon on the 2007-2008 TV series.

So, is it too much to ask Pratt's Disney superiors for an official Flash Gordon cartoon?
