Gotham Spinoffs Are A Possibility With Fox
01/17/2016 07:32 pm EST
The CW has been able to spinoff two shows from Arrow's success -- The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow -- and ABC is headed in that direction as well with Marvel's Most Wanted, which is an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff led by agent Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki). So, it should come as no surprise that FOX Chairman and CEO Gary Newman would "certainly be open to considering" Gotham spinoffs as well.
That's what Newman told IGN at Television Critics Association winter press tour, however, he pointed out that the network hasn't pursued that option yet. "We haven't had any conversations with Warners about whether or not they'd want to do a spinoff series," he explained. "I think that would be an issue for DC. It isn't quite clear to me that they'd be ready to do that, but it's a good idea."
