Marc Silvestri's Cyber Force Migrates To LINE Webtoon

As a group of cybernetic freedom fighters, it only makes sense for Marc Silvestri's acclaimed Cyber Force to take the next step comics' digital revolution.

Cyber Force publisher TopCow Comics announced today that it will join LINE Webtoon, an innovative digital publishing platform that offers free and innovative digital comics. Starting today, TopCow and LINE Webtoon announced that between Mondays and Thursdays, readers can access the latest two trade paperback volumes of Cyber Force for free. But this will merely serve to prep viewers for the all-new digital Cyber Force issues that will hit LINE Webtoon this fall, giving readers all-new chapters in Silvestri's acclaimed action drama. While some volumes of Cyber Force are currently available on comiXology, it's unclear if those title will move over to LINE Webtoon.

"We see this partnership with LINE Webtoon as a way to please our audience of devoted Cyber Force fans as well as bring in new ones on this new experience which is revolutionizing the way we read comics," Silvestri said in a statement. "We've already been deeply involved in developing the next Cyber Force storyline for the LINE Webtoon, and the results are going to truly blow our fans away."

The release of Cyber Force is part of Top Cow's new comprehensive, multi-platform publishing strategy. For instance, events that occur in the print series Aphrodite IX will directly tie into the new CyberForce series.

"Cyber Force is without question one of the most popular comics from one of the best comic studios around, and we're happy to host the past two portions of the Cyber Force saga on LINE Webtoon," LINE Webtoon Head JunKoo Kim said in a statement. "We really think this sets a great stage for this Fall when our readers will be able to experience new Cyber Force chapters exclusively on the Webtoon platform for free!"

Created in 1992 by Marc Silvestri, Cyber Force tells the story of a mutant superhero team that's empowered with cybernetic enhancements. Together, they've faced evil corporations, post-apocalyptic wastelands, and more. New installments of the series will hit Line Webtoon this fall.
