There are certain pairings you become accustomed to over time, like The Rock and Kevin Hart, Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, or Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly to list a few. Bret Hart and Corey Feldman? Not so much.

The pair will show up together on screen in a new horror anthology from director Barry J. Gillis titled Tales From The Dead Zone (via Joblo). The project is currently filming in Canada, and tells the tale of "a medical examiner who imagines how victims of a horrible car crash may have lived their lives."

The anthology will contain five stories consisting of Legend of the People's Demon, End Game, Rock Star Legacy, Rope a Dope, and Burt the Sailor. Bret "The Hitman" Hart, who most know from his time in WWE and WCW, will star as a private eye named Tom Jenkings, who is described as "a one-man wrecking crew who doesn't play by all of the rules." Both Hart and Feldman (Goonies, The Lost Boys) are featured in the Legend of the People's Demon segment, which has already been shot.

Akim Sonderholm is playing the medical examiner, alongside Dakota House, Len J. Phillips, Madison Nyenhuis, Ken Campbell, Maria Parker, Terrence Van Camp, and Holly Reiter.

Whenever Corey Feldman's name comes up, the Goonies 2 is never far behind. During a recent interview, however, the actor detailed just why it may never actually happen.

"Richard Donner is 87 years old. And it's like, no one really wants to make it without him. He's the driving force behind it. He says it's still alive. But as we all know...When you get to that age, things slow down quite a bit. There is a big possibility that he might not want to keep driving it. So, I think without him, it doesn't happen. And every day that passes, that he doesn't do it, there is less and less chance that it is ever going to happen at all."

You can read more of what he has to say about the sequel here. Tales From The Dead Zone is slated to for release in late 2017.
