The Flash and Green Arrow Receive New Costumes This June
03/12/2015 05:41 pm EDT
The Flash and Green Arrow are set for a wardrobe upgrade this coming June.
As part of DC Comics' massive publishing overhaul following Convergence, Barry Allen and Oliver Queen's alter-egos will undergo slight cosmetic changes in The Flash # 41 and Green Arrow #41. While the changes aren't as drastic as Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman's, they signal a thoroughness on DC's part to freshen their entire catalogue of characters. However, it looks like The Flash's uniform from the hit CW show holds some influence over his comic book counterpart's look.
The solicitations didn't reveal why Green Arrow or The Flash were changing their duds, but the answers should come within their respective pages this summer.
The Flash #41 hits comic shops on June 24 and Green Arrow #41 lands on shelves June 3.
What do you think readers? Are these costume changes a step in the right direction? Sound off in the comments below.
